These kinds can unfairly limit people's access to opportunities, including educational and professional realms. In this essay, we discuss standardized language varieties specific ways beliefs ideologies them allow become people, groups share, are presumed gender, race, ethnicity, social status, education numerous other socially salient identities. After describing how occurs, illustrate expression peeves becomes embodied. Finally, circulate higher detriment many students, include a range suggestions examples for center linguistic justice equity within education.
